Services and Fees

Therapeutic Services for Children, Parents and Carers

Individual play and creative arts therapy:

Fees for initial 12 session therapy block (minimum booking):

  • - Initial parent / carer consultation meeting: £50
  • - Play and creative arts therapy sessions: £50 per session (12 sessions = £600)
  • - Final parent / carer consultation meeting: £50
  • - Further sessions as needed: £50 per session.

It should be noted that therapy proceeds at the child’s pace and needs may not be met within an initial therapy block. Research shows that in the majority of cases, play and creative arts therapy makes a positive impact on the lives of clients but results cannot be guaranteed. Progress will be discussed with you on a regular basis.

Playful Parenting:

  • - Individual sessions (initial consultation meeting, 6 sessions, email support): £500
  • - Paired or group sessions (1 individual initial consultation meeting per person, 6 sessions, email support): £300 per person
  • - Optional additional sessions: £75 per person per session

Therapeutic Services for Professional Organisations

Play and creative arts therapy:

Professionals may refer clients to the Time to Play St Andrews Road playroom for individual play and creative arts therapy on the same terms as outlined above. For individual play and creative arts therapy delivered on your site, there is a minimum booking requirement of 2 clients per half day and there will be additional charges for meetings with professionals and for reports. A contract will be agreed with you.

Group play and creative arts therapy:

For a group of 3 children: 1 professional meeting, 3 parent meetings, 6 group therapy sessions, final report: £900

Whole group strengths and difficulties assessments:

£100 per report.

Payments

Invoices:

Invoices will be issued monthly in arrears. Unless previously agreed due to extenuating circumstances, missed sessions will be charged for. Fees will not be charged for any sessions cancelled by the therapist.

Payment options:

Depending on fundraising levels, a limited number of charity-funded places are available for those in receipt of universal credit. The service provided is exactly the same for fee paying and charity-funded places. Please indicate whether you would like to apply for a fee paying or a charity-funded place on your contact details form. There are separate waiting lists in operation for fee paying and charity-funded places. Priority will be given to charity-funded places where possible. You will be advised of likely waiting times if places are not immediately available.
